The Diabetes Hands Foundation is happy and excited to offer scholarships to attend MasterLab 2016, an event of the Diabetes Advocates program. MasterLab will take place on July 6th, in Orlando FL. We offer these scholarships to provide the advocates an invaluable experience on how to become better advocates, and equip them with the tools to accelerate and amplify their efforts.

Ground transportation to and from the airport with Mears Transportation. You will book your transportation online at https://secure.mearstransportation.com/Shuttles/Default.aspx. You can download the Mears discount coupon to save money on their shuttle.) Request a receipt.
Registration to the conference
2 night hotel accommodations (rooms will be shared with another Diabetes Advocates scholarship winner or with a member of the Diabetes Hands Foundation staff of the same gender)
Arrive July 5 and depart July 7
Breakfast and Lunch on July 6
Complimentary entry to Friends For Life Exhibit Hall Grand Opening on Wednesday
|Scholarships Do Not Include:||Extra baggage fees (all bags must be carried on or the expense is absorbed by the scholarship winner)

Friends for Life registration. If scholarship recipient wishes to stay past the days covered, he or she will incur the cost of FFL registration and lodging for the remainder of the week

All applicants must have already completed the advocacy survey. If you have not filled out the survey, you can still do so here. If you’ve never participated in Diabetes Advocates before and coming from the online community, you are welcome and encouraged to apply for these scholarships as well.
